After years in cryosleep, it would seem your long voyage is over. Or is it just beginning? Sensors indicate that this system has planets, and the distance to their sun would seem to support life. No one is sure what dangers lie ahead, thankfully, you have brought along instruments for surveying conditions, and in case there is trouble, an assault Mech or two. Humanities first interstellar voyage arrived at its destination unscathed, however, unknown dangers lurk around ever corner of this system. So land your dropship, deploy your probes and get started with terraforming, just make sure to bring a helmet.
Proximity Report contains a whopping 285 handcrafted patches that are teeming with life, energy and atmosphere. Lush pads, vibrant leads, massive sub-orbital bass, and distinctive plucks are all waiting for you to discover them. Also contained are many cinematic sequences that range from dramatic tribal percussion to militaristic industrial. SFX encompasses everything from a walking Mech (with lasers), to a pulsating warp core drive, and a landing dropship. In addition are 23 custom wavetables that vary from straight forward to experimental.
All patches are responsive to velocity and modwheel, (and when applicable aftertouch). Each patch has been calibrated to a maximum amplitude of between -2 and -4 dB. While there is an emphasis on atmosphere, the patches are suitable for all electronic or cinematic forms of music. These patches are unique, just like that glowing alien pod that your Chief Science Officer brought on board without asking…
So suit up, don’t forget your helmet, and strap in for the ride of a lifetime…
