- How do I install your soundsets?
- A PDF Installation Guide is included with each download. Please be sure read it before beginning installation.
- What is included with a soundset?
- Each soundset download file includes a zip file, which contains a folder with the synthesizer presets, and a PDF Installation Guide. Additional content might be included for specific soundsets.
- How do I open/unzip the download file?
- First, place the file in the folder where sounds are installed for that particular synthesizer. Extract the files in the same folder. The zip file can be discarded afterward, or you can store it away for safekeeping. Popular free software is available that will unzip files.
- How do I use your sounds?
- You must install the sounds in the appropriate folder for that particular synthesizer. Please make sure that your synth is up to date. The Installation Guide for the soundset indicates which versions are compatible. Please consult the user guide for your synthesizer plugin to determine the proper installation folder. Your DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) will host the synthesizer plugin; please consult your DAW’s user guide for default plugin locations. Once you have installed the sounds, you can use them in your own musical compositions.
- I have lost my presets and/or the download file, can I replace them?
- Please send me an email and I will happily re-send download links to you.
- Can I re-sell your sounds/presets to other people or a third party?
- No you cannot. The sounds/presets are for use only by the individual who purchased a license to them.
- Are there any kinds of restrictions for use regarding musical projects?
- You may utilize the sounds in your own musical compositions however you see fit. For instance, an individual track, an album, television, film scores, etc. However, you may not create a soundbank/soundset utilizing Echo Season sounds/patches or re-sell them to third parties.
- Do you offer other kinds of payment methods besides Paypal?
- Currently, Paypal is the only payment method offered.
- Can I get a refund?
- Normally, refunds are not offered, however, in exceeding rare circumstances or if a technical issue occurred a refund would be possible. Refunds are offered only on a case by case basis.
- I am experiencing an issue downloading the soundset that I purchased and/or I have not yet received my links?
- Please send me an email with your purchase receipt information and I will re-send the download links and resolve any issues.
- Do Echo Season soundsets ever go on sale?
- Yes, during specific holidays and/or randomly during the year.
- Will you ever make a soundset for [insert the name of a synth]?
- Yes, if there are enough requests from people then I would consider creating a soundset for whichever synth that might be.
