Peter Brefini, aka Echo Season, is an Ambient Downtempo producer from the Boston area. His music floats between psybient, downtempo, and Berlin-school. In May 2018, he released his debut album, Periphery,  on Synphaera Records. His tracks have been featured on Star’s End and Echoes Radio, as well as DJ mixes and many compilations.

He also loves creating synthesizer patches , which have become an integral part of his overall working process. When he first started his journey into synthesis he was never satisfied with the factory presets,  and with a very basic setup, he set out to create patches that were expressive, full of depth and sounded like they came from a studio chock full of incredible gear. In addition to exclusive soundsets that he releases on his site, he also often collaborates and releases patches with the legendary sound designer Luftrum (Soren Hybel).

With a meticulous attention to detail, and an ear for nuance, his sound can be best described as atmospheric, textured and full of depth.
